Support

The success of Bridge of Hope is that the program matches homeless women who want help with groups of individuals and families who want to help, a unique approach. . .The bridge, of course, is this caring scaffolding that links the resources of the local church to the neglected ... in the community.

The name 'Bridge of Hope' describes exactly what they do for homeless single Moms. I believe ‘hope’ is the cry of every single Mom as they cross the bridge into the unknown and scary journey of single parenting. When there is nothing left to live for, ‘hope’ is a beautiful gift given by the staff and [Neighboring Volunteers] at Bridge of Hope.

Anne Beiler, Founder, Auntie Anne's, Inc.

“Jesus never says to the poor: ‘Come find the church,’ but he says to those of us in the church: ‘Go into the world and find the poor, hungry, homeless, imprisoned.’”

Tony Campolo, Author and Speaker

It’s the poor in America that aren’t doing well. That’s why Bridge of Hope’s ministry is so key. We’ve never seen anything like it anywhere else in the country. It’s an answer to prayer. Bridge of Hope is surrounding moms and helping them get their lives back together; absolutely a gift from on high! We desperately need churches that start to focus outward and support ministries like Bridge of Hope to help the poor help themselves.

Tom and Christine Sine, Authors and Speakers

We’re seeing lives transformed, for sure, both within our congregation and for once-homeless single mothers and children in Bridge of Hope.

Shauna Ridge, Director of Lay Ministries at Hopewell

I wish people understood that Bridge of Hope is the best program out there. And it’s not really a program – it’s a family. Bridge of Hope is giving families a family, a village. So they aren’t alone.

Kelly, Grown daughter of a family served by Bridge of Hope 25 years ago

Bridge of Hope, and our friendship with Donna, changed my husband and I. It gave us a way to live out our faith. We began to see things in a new way. We went on to do foster care and so our Bridge of Hope experience even shaped our family today.
